What we have here is an engine that needs no introduction, the RB26DETT, a household name in the automotive community. Known to power the infamous Nissan Skyline GTRs (R32,R33,R34), this particular built inline 6 is being placed into a very special chassis, something Nissan, not a Skyline/GTR and it’s RWD, more on that in another feature.
The anticipation for this project to be completed is at an all time high here in Barbados, the way it sits on the engine stand surely gives you the impression that it is a work of art, especially with the beautiful valve cover painted midnight purple.
This aerial view shows us clearly that this build should be taken seriously in the horsepower department with the twin Garrett 707160-7 turbos bolted up to the Tomei exhaust manifolds, some very high quality aftermarket parts!
While the the twin turbo setup appears to be anxiously willing to provide .
This engine feature is just a peep into what is to come from this fantastic project. When it is finally lifted into the equally impressive chassis we definitely will ensure that the upcoming features are of a high standard.
The upcoming pic was actually posted on speedhunters #iamthespeedhunter engine theme for the month!
Stay tuned for updates on this amazing project!
